We are a family of believers following Jesus Christ, who seek to be a light in the darkness, where disciples are made, God’s and His Word are treasured & where Christ’s love abounds.
A light In the darkness:
Jesus said, “While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” (John 9:5)
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
(Matthew 5:14-16)
Disciples:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Mathew 28:18-20)
God and His word are treasured:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31)
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 15:15)
Love abounds:
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (John 13:34)
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. (Philippians 1:9-11)
