Beware of the enemies schemes.

Greetings Church family,

We are enjoying such an abundance of healing and hope and fellowship at the Hub.
It’s a joy to witness and share in our growth journey together. Whilst we are enjoying such a time of harvest, let’s also be aware that the enemy will never cease to attack! All the more, as we grow and reach out into the community to spread the Good News. So let’s commit to covering out church in prayer!

Let’s be aware of our enemy and his plans, that we might stand against the ‘devil’s schemes’, as Paul urges us in 2 Corinthians 2:11 “in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.”

We can thwart Satan’s schemes by claiming Christ’s victory. In striving for Christ-likeness, the outpouring of love from the Church will withstand any attack the deceiver may attempt. So let’s unite in declaring His power, His Victory, His glory and the glorious HOPE we have in Christ Jesus.

This week, let’s pray with a special focus on standing against spiritual attacks. Let us pray a spiritual  protective hedge around relationships. The enemy shall not outwit us! We know he doesn’t want us to prosper, but God does! So let’s not deny that we have a committed, scheming, evil enemy. Let’s acknowledge it and declare victory over the ‘prince of this world’ (John 12:31).

Some great ways to stand against the enemy:

– PRAY alone, together, corporately, however possible, just pray.

– Speak out Scripture. There’s power in the spoken WORD so speak out a favourite verse and allow the power of God’s Word to strengthen you.

– Worship. Put on some worship music or sing out your praises, go for a walk and appreciate God’s creation. However you’re called to worship, it’s a great tactic to de-stabilise attacks of the enemy!

– Come to church. There’s a corporate anointing when you enter God’s house and worship Him in unity with the body of Christ.

Bless y’all!
Jemma
